I am a professor(教授/博导) and a recipient of Excellent Young Scholars, NSF-China(国家优青). I received my Ph.D. degree in School of Computer Science and Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, under the supervision of Prof. Jianfei Cai and Prof. Jianmin Zheng. Before that, I got my Bachelor degree in Computer Science and Engineering from USTC in 2006. From 2011 to 2012, I first worked as an intern student and then a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in LGG of EPFL, Switzerland. Since 2012, I have been a faculty member in the School of Mathematical Sciences.

Our group mainly conducts research at the intersection of Vision, Graphics, and AI with a special focus on capturing, modeling and synthesizing objects, humans and large-scale scenes. Specifically, we are interested in the following topics:

  • Graphics & Vision: Digital Human Reconstruction and Synthesis, 3D Scene Reconstruction and Rendering

  • Deep Learning & Neural Representation: Geometric Learning, Neural Rendering

  • Numerical Optimization: Sparse Optimization, Parallel/Scalable Optimization

Our group is always looking for self-motivated associate researcher, Postdoc, Ph.D, master and undergraduate students. If you are interested in the above listed topics and want to join our group, please drop me an email.
